Benny Cane, Canadian rapper and singer, hails from the outskirts of western New Brunswick. Born and raised in a small potato farming town, a career in rap music isn’t necessarily a common trade, but Cane is no stranger to the road less travelled. Moving over five thousand miles to Hawaii at age 18, while most graduates headed off to college, he lived with family in the tropics discovering his true values. By surrounding himself with healthy relationships, good food and inspirational music he discovered the true definition of wealth has no ties to monetary value. Noting his two greatest inspirations as Russ & the late Mac Miller, Benny combines the two styles producing a unique final product, leaving listeners with melodic chorus’s and in your face verses that are guaranteed to put you in a different mind state. Since releasing his latest single “Succeed & Grind” on all major streaming services, the 22-year-old rapper has been hard at work putting together his debut EP, which will be released early 2020.
